Ecological school project
Just 25 minutes from Cusco there is an extraordinary primary school, the name is Huacarpay ecological school, this project started on 2008 and now they have developed a complete ecological system.
They have a green house, individual fields for each student, compost area, workshop with recycled products, an audio and video room to see other experiences in the world and to work in a daily news video program led by the students.
Potential areas for volunteers: Physical and mental health, education, water and sanitation, small business, environmental protection.
We also want to contribute to this project helping in what they do and helping them to improve with a rocket stove for the kitchen and teaching them how to purify the water with our SODIS method.
There is an oportunity as well to implement a complete hygiene program including washing hands and creating healthy lifestyles.
This project is available almost all year.
