Projects

All of our endeavors must meet basic requirements in keeping with Hampy's general mandate - to develop programs that have a therapeutic, preventative and/or rehabilitative focus in the areas of physical and mental health, education, economics and ecologic resource management.

By developing our pilot projects in the communities of Chocco and Kuychiro, we are striving to develop basic systems to increase the overall physical and mental well-being of those who live there.   Areas that are currently being improved are: basic health treatment and prevention, micro-business training and agricultural development, ecological awareness and alternative waste disposal education, water purification and construction of preliminary infrastructure within the communities.

In addition to our ongoing pilot projects in the rural communities of Chocco and Kuychiro, Hampy is currently working on projects in several public and private institutions within the Andean city of Cusco and the province of Acomayo.  As Hampy continues to grow, we are incorporating vital collaborations with other institutions and organizations in order to improve initiatives in the local schools, health center, evening youth groups, and professional trainings.
